I LOVE all the SS songs!

I often go around singing "The letter B, the letter B, no better letter can there be...of all the letters you can see, the best is letter Beeeeeee!"

Lol!

And, don't forget..."U" send me, darling "U" send me....
Yeah, I remember these, stoned out of my gourd on cough medicine, wondering why Oscar the Grouch didn't cut Snuffleupagas's throat because he was such a whiner loser. Ah, the winsome days of youth...
LMAO... the one I really hated was Bob.

I still sometimes catch myself singing the 10 song about "ten tiny turtles on the telephone, talking to their grocery men."

I wonder if the clips above were sung by any famous group(s) of the time, because they capture that sound perfectly.

zomg I LOVED "Capital I" when I was Sesame Street age!! I actually recorded my own multi-tracked a capella version later on, for studio practice in college. I might even still have it on a "master" tape somewhere.

Not that I'd want to listen to it today, mind.
He was just too perky, wasn't he? Probably strung out on coke. He was probably a dealer over on the next street and happened to come around trying to get the kids hooked. Probably was the reason that Mr. Hooper got whacked too. A little argument about protection payments and such...
