My 5-year-old 40G iPod Classic is dying a whirring, skipping, stuttering death. Of course it isn't under warranty any longer. Of course it will cost four times as much to get it repaired than to buy a new one. And of course the so-called Apple Geniuses won't be able to transfer my 2,500-plus title music library to any new device, meaning I will need to upload everything again from scratch.
Ringtones: What's yours and how often do you change it?

I usually change my ringtone a couple of times a year. Right now, it's the first bars of Dizzy Gillespie's Night in Tunisia. Hey, hepcats, dig my cuh-raaaazy ringtone, man!
